Jenny Craig - Week 1 is done!

Well I had my WI yesterday and I am down 1.1 lbs to put me at 250.3 this week - that is 6.2 lbs down since signing up for Jenny Direct!

It has been a good week. I stuck to the program and enjoyed most of the foods. I find the days are front-loaded - that is lots of food in the morning and less as the day goes on. I am usually hungry at bedtime and either had some free foods (sf jello or veggies or a hot herbal tea) or I just went to bed.

All in all I'm glad that I made the decision to try something new with Jenny Craig. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't get under 250 but that gives me something to focus on for this week.

I am feeling good and my clothes are definitely already feeling better. I wore a pair of jeans all day yesterday that I couldn't have worn for an hour earlier this month so I am also happy about that.

I went shopping at Reitmans yesterday and got some great clothes - new chocolate cords and teal wrap sweater - great outfit with a white camisole underneath. I also got a chocolate cord jacket with a teal scarf to wear with jeans or dress pants. It's a great fit and according to my friend looks great from behind. :P I will just have to keep walking away from people so they can get the full effect! LOL! She also told me the cords were a fantastic fit (which they were) and made my legs look lean and long! Who doesn't want those pants?! I had a great time and really it was encouraging to feel attractive again when trying on clothes instead of cursing my body and feeling bad about my weight. It was a good day! :)

I went to an Oktoberfest dance and I must admit with a great outfit (jeans and black/fuchsia lace top) and great shoes I felt really confident for the first time in a long time! It was a good feeling! :) I had talked to my Jenny consultant about the dance and was going to have one drink and worked it out. However, my stomach was burning and I felt sick after because I had an empty stomach. I ended up having some of the appetizers there including lots of veggies. I also danced almost non-stop the whole night so I got lots of activity. All in all, it was a great night!

So now I am on to my second week! I am working on getting in activity 3 times this week. I've not been very active the last few weeks but need to pick it up!

So my goals this week are to stick to the food plan and do some deliberate activity at least three times. Good goals - both are absolutely attainable. And getting into the 240's will be the result of following through on those goals. Stay tuned as I will be posting a picture of my scale when I get under 250! The camera is ready to go! :)

Thanks for everyone who has been checking in and commenting! I appreciate the feedback! :)

You are doing so well, and you sound so positive :) Good for you! Last week I got back on track with WW and did pretty well. I can see how Jenny Craig could help a lot with choices removed. WW promotes choice, but some of us have trouble making good ones.

Keep it up!
