Day 2 - On Jenny Craig!


First, here is my Jenny Craig "Before" picture. I found it when I was reviewing the photos still in my camera - very unflattering but makes a good "Before."

I am half-way through this day and I am feeling good. I am enjoying the different foods and eating lots of veggies which is always good.

Loved the Swedish Meatballs for lunch so I'm going to make a version of it for my family tonight for dinner. My own dinner will be Turkey chili. Yesterday I stir-fried veggies with a bit of olive oil and a Epicure Red Garlic seasoning (no salt). So good! I had the leftovers with my lunch. I will do the same tonight. The kids enjoyed it.

Every morning snack is the same - its a "Canadian Bar" which is the Canadian version of JC's "Anytime Bar" which apparently people either love or hate! Lots of comments on the Jenny boards about it. I have to say the "Honey and Peanut Butter Canadian Bar" is yummy and big too!

The snacks have been good too. This afternoon will be "Bruschetta Veggie Chips" with 3/4 cup low fat cottage cheese. This evening is 1 fruit with 6 oz non-fat yogurt and 2 tbsp almonds.

Lots of food and so far lots of variety. I have to say I love picking up my menu and eating what's next on the list. Great to take the food choices out of the equation.
