Day 3 on Jenny!

I had another good day. Yesterday I was just so hungry all day long but today I felt like I was more full.

I have been enjoying the food. Today I had a honey oat bar for breakfast, very good - tasted like a date square sort of but drier. That with a cup of skim milk, 3/4 cup of cottage cheese and a small banana, plus a coffee made for a great breakfast.

Some of the kits they have for lunches are really convenient - tuna salad (not great), crackers, fruit cup plus a big Subway veggie salad with dressing makes for a nice lunch.

There is also lots of fresh fruit and cottage cheese, yogurt, almonds. Also, twice in the day, you are supposed to have fats - low-fat dressing (not fat-free) for the salad and margarine for dinner - I usually use olive oil instead and stir fry my veggies instead. Makes they crunchy and tasty and they also have the healthy oil.

Supper was chicken pasta parmesan with 2 tbsp parmesan cheese and veggies above. So good. Have to say its tough to cook for my family and not eat - today I made a baked ham, mashed potatoes and the same veggies. They also had low-fat frozen yogurt with chocolate sauce. I am also baking a banana bread to use up some bananas for them. I don't usually bake but need to take care of my family and learn to not overindulge. It's a skill that needs some work.

Anyhow, I had a great day and I have to admit, I will check the scale in the morning. This morning I sat at 250.1 - sooo close. I need to see it slip over the line. Yay! Can't wait! :)

You're more than half way to goal, congratulations!

I like to use heart-friendly olive oil for my fats, too.

I admire that even though you had a bit of a setback that you're back to it & blogging. Never give up.

Hope you've reached that new weight decade!
