Joined WW - new start - new goals!

So there it is! I joined WW tonight and stayed for the meeting. It was a good one about the importance of tracking so that was a good one for me.

I have signed up for a 12-week plan and weighed-in at 262.4 lbs. I haven't been in the 260's for a very long time and I won't be here long - trust me!

So these are some steps I will take to meet my goal of being healthy and fit:
1. making healthier food choices - this is ongoing but I will work on improvement
2. meet my daily healthy guidelines
3. track my food
4. exercise 3 times per week

Some weight-loss challenges are:
1. Monthly challenges - I will work at losing 6 lbs a month each month for the year. That will help me meet my long-term challenge.
2. 5% goal - 13 lbs.
3. 10% goal - 26.2 lbs - I know they don't count the .2 but I like it as it reminds me of the length of a marathon and that is what this journey is.
2. 12-week weight-loss - I won't set a number just keep track of what I lose.
3. 2010 Long-Term Challenge - I have set 63 lbs as my weight-loss goal for 2010. That will take me into Onederland which is exciting! :)

I am feeling good right now. I went to the meeting and I started new - new number, new rewards, new everything. I am liking this.

I've got a feeling that this year's gonna be a good year! :)

Way to go Sephgirl! Great decision, I also do it 12 weeks at a time. It makes me committed because I've already paid for them! You can do it! I know you can!
