Wow, I had a great week - totally on program and it paid off. I was down 5.2 lbs. I am really happy about that. I actually was excited to go to weigh in. And the scale actually reflected my work. Very nice! Felt like old times.
So I thought that I would post what I did right this week to help me get that good number. This is what I did:
- journalled everything
- planned out my day (food and activity)
- reviewed my goals
- cooked lots at home, healthy low-points options with lots of leftovers
- shopped and stocked my home with good healthy choices
- cleared out foods that weren't on program
- weighed and measured my food
- re-calculated points values to ensure accuracy
- made healthy food choices - lots of filling foods
So I guess this is a reminder that if I want to lose the weight, I need to do the work. It doesn't just happen. It is making lots of great decisions regularly!
