This week was my final WI at WW until after Christmas. We are a community group so we don't meet all year. I was really excited about this last meeting and hoping for some inspiration to carry me over the Christmas holidays. I'm still focusing on reaching Onederland by New Year's so I needed a bit of encouragement. The great thing that happened is that my leader presented me with a 100 lb necklace. Our region just become part of the national office so things are changing. A representative came to the area for a meeting. During that meeting, they told the leaders that when someone loses 100 lbs, the unit gets a prize which means the leader/workers get a prize. Anyhow, my leader didn't think that she should keep it since I did all the work so she presented it to me tonight which was a great pick me up. She was so sweet - she started crying as she started talking about it. She cried when I got the 100 lb certificate too. Its so sweet to see how moved she was.
It's a black cord with a silver medallion which is a large circle with a smaller circle in it and a large 1 on top of both. It also has the year stamped on it. You can't really tell what it is unless someone told you.
I've decided that I'm going to wear it as my anchor through the holidays to remember what I've accomplished so far and to remind me of my goal to be in the 100's by the New Year. Losing 8.5 pounds is a tough goal to meet over Christmas but I'm going to really work hard. I definitely will be weighing in at my WW meetings come January 6th under 200 lbs.
