Highlights of my trip were:

- meeting Ciabeth - its so cool to meet someone from this board. She's awesome and we had a nice visit even with my crazy kids and the throwing up incident - that was my son not Ciabeth. LOL! Here is a picture of us together!
- meeting up with old friends - one was a woman I met when my daughter was born. Our children (she had twins) were both in a special care nursery and that's an experience most people don't understand. We stayed close. Was great to see her and her 4 children! The kids had a blast! Another friend I saw, used to live in my town but moved back to Vancouver island. She moved in August 2006 before I started WW and was just blown-away by the changes. She watched the kids for me while I went to the concert. It was great to see her and such a great time together including a whole day shopping downtown after DH and DD left for home (they left a day early).
- Getting to Lululemon. I had a nice morning, which included breakfast at Starbucks with the lemon cranberry scone - which even at 11 points was sooo worth it! After all the planning to go there, I forgot my giftcard but found out I could still order with it over the phone so I have something all picked out. I ended up getting a pair of Still pants which are looser fit black yoga pant in a size 6!!! Yes you read it correctly a size 6 - they are a bit snug but still wearable. It was amazing to even know I could put those on. I got a hot pink crossover tank and a winter white fleece hoodie both in size 12 but snug so who can figure out sizing! I love what I got. I am also going to order with my giftcard the Om jacket which is a longer jacket - I'm going to get it in New Blue size 10!
- And of course, the Van Halen concert which would be my husband's biggest highlight. My DH was so happy. He went ahead with our friends and when I got the kids settled, I showed up in time for the main event. It was a rocking evening! All old Van Halen songs! I have never been a fan of David Lee Roth but I must say, he still looks like a rockstar and at 54 that's amazing! His vocals and showmanship were fantastic not to mention his 6-pack abs! Wolfgang - Eddie's son with Valerie Bertinelli - played bass and he did so well not even taking into account he is 16 years old. He didn't do the rockstar moves but his vocals were great and he played well. One really sweet part was when he and his dad were kneeling facing each other playing and at the end, Eddie leaned over and kissed Wolfie. So sweet! I had a fun time and it was great to have that evening with my husband! :)
- Shopping in regular shops - got a sweater dress from Jacob and a Christmas dress from the Gap! So nice to fit!
- I stayed OP - I wasn't sure I had because I was enjoying my foods although mostly healthy choices with a few treats and had a few drinks one evening. I originally was going to just let it go and not journal but I couldn't and went back and it turned out I was still OP. My saving grace was all the APs I earned with all the walking. We walked for hours all day long and pushing a stroller with usually my daughter standing on the back. My legs are still sore.
- I did some BFL workouts in my room - forgot my resistance band but did pushups and tricep dips and other exercises instead. I also got to the gym in the hotel once for a walk/run.
- And the big one was after all that, I still lost 1.8 lbs this week to put me at 206.6 so I am still on track for my New Years goal of Onederland!
It was such a nice trip! The kids were amazing and we had such a nice time together. We haven't been away in over a year so we needed a break and Vancouver in December is so fun!
