New Year! New Goals!

Well it is the end of another year and although I am not where I wanted to be, I know that this is temporary and I am fully capable of getting to where I want. I am redirecting my efforts so that I actually meet the goals I have set for myself. I want to be healthy and physically fit and active. I want to be here for my children until they don't need me anymore and I want to enjoy my senior years with good mobility and health. All that starts right here with me.

I want all these things and I am willing to do what it takes to get there!

For 2009, I will
- get under 200 lbs.
- fit in a size 12 comfortably.
- run 5K without stopping.

I got so close this year and then ran away from it. I want to do this for my health as I can really feel the weight I've put on in my joints, in my breathing and in my overall well-being.

To achieve these goals, I will:
- attend meetings weekly
- journal/track everything
- increase my activity level
- go to the Weight Watcher's 200+ board regularly
- use positive thinking and visualization of my goals

I can do this! I know it because I've done it before!

I want to lose the weight and I am willing to do what it takes to reach my goals!

I would love to run a 5K without stopping too!!! I have the CIBC Run for the Cure in October of 2009!!
